MAHJONG 101 CLASS
Every Other Tuesday • 6:00–8:30 PM • $40 per person
Go from complete beginner to understanding how American Mahjong is played in one fun, hands-on lesson. You’ll learn to read the card, choose a hand, navigate the Charleston and play a game from start to finish.
Your lesson also includes a 2026 American Mahjong playing card, so you’ll be ready to keep practicing your new skills.
WEEKLY OPEN PLAY
Wednesdays & Thursdays • 5:30–8:30 PM • $10 per player
Pull up a chair and Mahj with us! Weekly Open Play at The Jade Magnolia is relaxed, social and welcoming to both seasoned players and those still building their confidence. While Open Play is not a formal beginner lesson, guided play and help are always available when needed. Bring your current NMJL card and favorite tile setup, or use one of ours. Advance reservations are appreciated.
